How brutal is this? Innocent civilians, women and children brutalised in such a vicious way. What crime did they commit? Is this the new Zimbabwe that was celebrated as the new dawn? The government has deployed the army to violate the masses, to beat them into submission. Democracy does not exist in Zimbabwe.

Over the past 36 years a lot of bad things have been done in our beloved Zimbabwe in the name of freedom and we will never forget them. Now we want 'real' freedom and we will fight for it.

Mnangagwa blames the west for unrest in Zimbabwe - Melusi Sibanda

Here we go again!! Some people love being victims because they love being able to blame someone else. Accountability is too much for them. They don’t like being responsible for who they have become or where they are in life.
In the case of ZANU and EDM, they are angry with others because of their own incompetence. Like all failing regimes ZANU think holding on makes them strong, but the truth is, unless they let go, unless they forgive themselves, unless they recognise that the situation is now fucked, Zimbabwe cannot move forward.
It's time to talk! Its time for a real Unity government with MDC!!

2019 and Zimbabwe is still burning by Justice Sibanda
Our thoughts are with the families and friends that have lost their loved today in demonstrations in Zimbabwe. Several people have been killed during protests in Zimbabwe after the government more than doubled the price of fuel overnight.
Hundreds more were arrested as demonstrators took to the streets in the cities of Harare and Bulawayo.
Images shared on whatsapp show once again Zimbabwean Security forces (not wearing army uniforms but fooling no-one) firing live rounds at protestors. A News Day report says that at least five people reportedly died while 24 others were injured.
The government has today (Tuesday) blocked access to social media following alleged threats from the government that it would shut down the entire internet amid protests against a fuel price hike.
Zimbabwean citizen Kerry Kay told TimesLIVE on Tuesday that the government had threatened to shut the internet on Monday.
"For the past three hours we have not been able to access WhatsApp. With the government shutting down the internet and social media - it’s the final straw for human rights," Kay said.

It's been a year and Zimbabwe needs a new identity! - Melusi Sibanda
It's been a year and Zimbabwe needs a new identity!
So it's been a year since the coup drama and we're still pretty much screwed, if not worse than we were at this point last year. President EDM is practicing his Zimbabwe 'scarf' diplomacy to no avail. The reason for the failure and lacklustre performance of his new government is that he has no vision nor any marketing strategy. Zimbabwe has no positive story or promise to sell. We are still a state in desolation and constant decline and we need a major boost that can only come in the form of a change in a identity and direction that will involve everyone within the country, young and old, black and white, locals and diasporans alike.
Sustainable economic developement through environmental protection.
Yes people this is our best option to start moving forward as a country. Very few countries in the world have the resource Zimbabwe has to adopt a Governace by Sustainability policy. We have the land, minerals, livestock, animals, infrastructure (needs work), education (requires work), health (needs work) and most importantly the people to pull this off. A sustainable economy involves everyone in within the and enduces heathly communities, economic vitality and most importantly a natural environment for our future generations.
EDM has struggled to get the Zimbabwean population and foriegn investors on board, however, I am convinced that by identifying ourselves and our country as one that is aiming for Sustainable developement, it'll be a giant step toward unity, developement and investment.
It won't be easy, however, look what RWANDA has acheived over 20 years...

Of state sponsored abductions - Justice Sibanda
The US is yet to reach a final conclusion on the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, officials say, despite reports the CIA believes it was ordered by the Saudi crown prince.
"Numerous unanswered questions" remain, a State Department statement said.
Sources told US media they did not believe the murder could have taken place without the approval of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS).

As part of the way forward I propose a database of all opponents of the Zimbabwean government that are missing. I implore the Zimbabwean Government to bring closure to hundreds of families and let them know what happened to their loved ones and where their remains. Mugabe may be gone but the hurt he has caused can still be felt so strongly.
NGOs over to you, let's get this database up and running.
The struggle goes on 😢
