Apparently the South African minister Lindiwe Sisulu has pleaded with the European Union and United Kingdom to lift the sanctions against Zimbabwe's brutal regime, is she serious?? Has she been living under a rock for the last month, or should I say 18 years? People in Zimbabwe are living under a brutal regime, there is no freedom of speech nor expression. There is no new dawn or a new Zimbabwe, this is the same corrupt, rogue Zanu PF that we have witnessed since independence. The Western world has to amp up the pressure and keep the sanctions until we see human rights restored in Zimbabwe.

A message to Lindiwe Sisulu don't be complicit in Zanu PF thuggery, stand up for what is right, open your eyes and see the suffering the people of Zimbabwe are going through. Do not be blinkered by bureaucracy. The Zimbabwean government must know that only the restoration of human rights, freedom of speech, and rule of law will put an end to sanctions, anything less is not good enough.

Over the past 36 years a lot of bad things have been done in our beloved Zimbabwe in the name of freedom and we will never forget them. Now we want 'real' freedom and we will fight for it.

The Mother of All Cover-ups Zimbabwean style - by Justice Sibanda
During the riots from January 14 to 16 that led to thousands being arrested – and left at least 12 dead and hundreds wounded – the army blamed rogue soldiers and deserters for causing mayhem. So as a result here comes the supposedly clever part, The Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) are set to conduct door–to-door searches countrywide to look for army regalia allegedly used by "rogue elements" in society to commit crimes.

What a cynical load of nonsense, the one thing the Zimbabwean Army is not incompetent, there is no way we can be expected to believe that the Zimbabwean army were robbed. The annoying thing is that the West is most likely eating this up and taking Zanu PF's side. No new sanctions from the EU, the UK in bed with a Rogue Regime, sending Asylum Seekers back with disregard to the ongoing human rights abuses. I know that we as a country have a lot to offer makes one wonder what is at play here, what has ED promised these people in exchange for them turning a blind eye. The most important thing now is for the rights of Zimbabweans to be respected. We hope this is not another opportunity for the army to conduct door-to door-raids and brutally assault civilians in their homes. We will be watching! Zimbabwe hang in there.

Britain turning a blind eye to Zimbabwe's Human Rights Violations by Kwanele Khupe
It is with shock that it has been discovered that UKBA is working with the rogue, brutal regime of Zimbabwe to deport asylum seekers back to the country. The world watched in horror in January when civilians in Zimbabwe were brutalised, beaten, women raped, internet shutdown and some picked up and never to be seen again.

So this is the same government that the UK are making deals with? What ever happened to standing up for human rights, being a positive leader of the world? I guess the hostile environment agenda is more appealing to this Conservative government, than standing up for what is right. A crying shame!! Aluta Continua!

Opportunity for a reverse brain-drain in Zimbabwe - Melusi Sibanda
Yes, a brain drain can be reversed - Its always sad to see a neighbour struggling, particularly South Africa who have only been nothing but friends to Zimbabweans. They have taken in millions of Zimabweans and through the highs and lows they have had our backs.
South Africa, Africa's second-largest economy, has recently endured a hard couple of years with a rise in inflation and unemployment. The falling demand for their largest exports, namely gold and platinum, has seen their economy take a major hit. To make matters worse, a severe drought decimated agricultural output. As a result of all the above, the Rand is at an all-time low leaving more than a quarter of South Aftricans unemployed. This is bad for everyone all round, however with a proactive economic policy it may be the greatest opportunity for Zimbabwe to bring 'our brains' and money back into the country. The same can be said about the current Brexit situation.
Diasporan Zimbos can bring a distinct perspective to the discourse on the Zimbabwean situation because they have experienced both worlds. By leveraging the skills, ingenuity and resources that the they possesses, diasporan Zimbos are uniquely positioned to contribute to boosting economic growth and prosperity in the home country.
It is clear that the demand for talent is high in Zimbabwe, therefore harnessing the talents and expertise of the diasporans should be the highest in Government Policy priorities to help to bolster Zimbabwe's development.

Rogue Regime by Kwanele Khupe
How brutal is this? Innocent civilians, women and children brutalised in such a vicious way. What crime did they commit? Is this the new Zimbabwe that was celebrated as the new dawn? The government has deployed the army to violate the masses, to beat them into submission. Democracy does not exist in Zimbabwe.

Mnangagwa blames the west for unrest in Zimbabwe - Melusi Sibanda
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/02/01/zimbabwes-emmerson-mnangagwa-accuses-western-countries-stoking/
Here we go again!! Some people love being victims because they love being able to blame someone else. Accountability is too much for them. They don’t like being responsible for who they have become or where they are in life.
In the case of ZANU and EDM, they are angry with others because of their own incompetence. Like all failing regimes ZANU think holding on makes them strong, but the truth is, unless they let go, unless they forgive themselves, unless they recognise that the situation is now fucked, Zimbabwe cannot move forward.
It's time to talk! Its time for a real Unity government with MDC!!
